Hair Salon Seattle Review- Essensuals London

Good morning guys 🙂
I hope you’ve had an amazing week so far! Today, I want to write about my experience at the hair salon Essensuals London located in the heart of Seattle’s fashionable Capitol Hill.

I was invited to experience the salon’s hair process from beginning to end. I’m going to be honest, I’ve tried a lot of hair salons in Germany and I had a lot of bad experiences! For me it is very important to get a good consultation around the hair cut and possible colors and the style that fits best to me. I love it when the stylist gives me some good tips that help taking care of my hair on my own, and I also love it when my hair just feels better and healthier after leaving a good salon session.

I can tell you for sure that all my requirements were met very well. Essensuals London is definitely one of the best hair salons I’ve ever been!

The salon is owned by hair gurus and brothers Jason and Robert Townsend. I got a hair cut by Jason, and I can tell you he impressed me! He is an expert, he knows everything about my hair, he just realized that my hair on the back is much dryer than the parts in the front. He told me that’s because

I wash my hair with hot water, and it’s really demaging. I had no idea! But, it makes sense: When I use my flat iron I usually put a heat protection on my hair, but when I wash it with hot water, the hair does not get any protection, and that’s the reason why it dries out. So I learnt: Next time I’ll wash my hair with room temperature warm water 🙂

You know guys, my hair is growing really fast, maybe some of you say: yay, lucky you! Sure, I’m happy about that, but when you get your hair blond colored and your natural color is brown…hmm after 3 weeks already I can see my dark roots 🙁
I don’t want to get my hair colored too often, since you know my hair is already stressed out and super dry 🙁
Jason showed me how I can style my hair so that the dark roots do not bother me too much, which helps me a lot.

After the blowout, my hair looked so good, I thought Jason is done but I was wrong! He is an expert and wants to do the best of your hair. He took a curling iron and gave my hair some waves. While doing so, I was explained wich direction should I roll the iron, and got a chance to try that out while he gave advices. He teached me how I can style my hair by myself!!! WOW, I was impressed!

If you live in Seattle area and are looking for a hair specialist that you can trust, I can strongly recommend you, to make your next hair appointment at Essensuals London.

I would definitely go back there, Jason did an amazing job, he cut about 2 inches off and layered it, styled my hair, I got a ton of useful tips and I had a great experience!
I love my new hair, it has never looked better and guys: now I can make some waves by myself, yay! Ok, they are not so perfect like Jason did, but I’m practicing 😉

What pretty hair:) I'm in Seattle so I love hearing about great places here! Love that he taught you how to make your own waves-I never know how to recreate salon hair at home so that's super helpful.

Your hair looks amazing! I also wash my hair with hot water because I just can't stand cold water… whoops! I am getting my hair cut and color for the first time in a year on Saturday so I am nervous as to how it will all go!

Wow, what a great turnout! ( not that you didn't already look beautiful!) I usually find hard trusting any hairdresser, so I just let my friend cut my hair and color it from time to time. With ombre though, it's so low maintenance and I love it!

    Have a lovely day!
